What Java version?
Java increases virtual memory usage.
To optimize memory management, JRE 6 (j2se version 1.6+) at least is recommended.
32-bit browsers do not support Java 7 and later versions on the Mac platform.
Java 8 and above support HiDPI settings.
You may be warned about the security risk before the Slide Show starts. Java’s built-in security checks the applet and Web Start (JNLP) for provenance.
If the applet is blocked, but you trust this site, download TIGcer.zip. (695 bytes)
• locate TIG.cer within the Zip file you downloaded
• open Java control panel
• select “Security” tab
• click “manage Certificates...” button
• select “Signer CA” option in the “Certificate type” combo-box
• import TIG.cer
The certificate is valid until 2039-10-21.
Installing the certificate allows your system to identify the publisher “TIG.Java Root CA”.
