Creating images on my computer started out as a hobby. However, this did not last long, as I quickly became aware that my hobby was shared by hundreds, if not by thousands, of like-minded enthusiasts, and I began to wonder whether it was a fad rather than a hobby.
In 1998 Rainbirds came in 61st in a ray tracing contest!
The contest’s theme was “Great Engineering Achievements”. You were disqualified, if you strayed off-theme.
I like reading, writing, watching, performing plays.

² PJ For PreZZZ!, Music, The Unspeakable One, Copycat, The Boy King, On Short Notice, Confucius and Kadmeas are “chapters” in a “mostly” prose book of fiction I wrote called Berliner. Fiction within fiction.
¹ Magicus Oculus, The Impostor, The Voyeur and The Gentleman R Magicus Oculus, short plays, a collection.
My fiction can be viewed online linked to images or vice versa. I refer to Magicus Oculus as an oBook, denoting that the book is online.
I could omail it to someone, ... O – an omail.
An oDition is a kind of interactive edition. Behold (click): Blind.
Following links (by clicking) constitutes interacting — “operating on instructions entered by somebody at a keyboard or other input device” (Encarta® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1999, 2000 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. Developed for Microsoft by Bloomsbury Publishing Plc.)
Magicus Oculus also exists as an e-book that you can buy from an online bookstore.

Verfremdungseffekt (variously translated as ‘distancing’, ‘alienation’ or ‘estrangement’ effect) applies to innocuous seeming absurdities on stage, coined by Bertolt Brecht (1898–1956), like seeing a paper moon hanging down from the rafters.
In its paginated form, Berliner has pages, by golly. of which are linked, addenda. Jumping, should the reader so choose, to an addendum, alienates. I did mean for that to happen.
